DEZBA Inspection is the port and commodity inspection platform used by clients, inspectors and authorized company staff. Accounts are issued by DEZBA Inspection; the mobile application offers no public sign-up. This policy covers the Android and iOS applications with Nominations and personal account controls. The Spanish version prevails in case of discrepancy.
1. Controller and contact
The controller is DEZBA Inspection, Argentina.
For support, privacy questions and requests about personal data: development@dezbainspection.com.
2. What data is processed and why
- Account and access: email address, profile data, user identifier, credentials, sessions, roles and permissions, to authenticate the user and control access.
- Security and personal signature: two-step authentication information, when enabled, and the signature the user chooses to upload for work features.
- Work information: nominations, products, plants, contacts, history, documents and data added to those records, to view and manage authorized operations.
- Internal chat: messages, attachments, groups and their members, for communication between employees. Messages a user reports are reviewed by authorized moderators, who may delete them; blocks between users are recorded so they can be enforced.
- Notifications: if the user allows them, a device identifier used to alert them about new chat messages. The alert shows who wrote or the group name, never the message content, and it is turned off when the user signs out.
- Technical logs: date and time, IP address, browser or client information, user and email when available, requests, results, response times and limited summaries of operations, for security, diagnostics and monitoring of the service.
Work records may contain information about other people and organizations. Users must only add information they are authorized to process for their tasks.
3. Where data is processed and who can access it
The application uses DEZBA Inspection servers and infrastructure and storage services from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Operations are sent to the server and modify the system's data. Notifications are delivered through Apple's push notification service.
The infrastructure used may process information outside Argentina, including the United States. Functional access is limited through accounts, roles and permissions. Authorized users and administrators access the data needed for their tasks and for administering the service; infrastructure providers take part in hosting and operating it.
If users share a document through another application, that document is delivered to the destination they select and is also subject to that recipient's practices.
4. Protection and storage on the phone
The application's connections to the configured services use HTTPS. The system applies access controls and filters sensitive fields in technical logs. The session refresh token is kept in the device's secure storage.
The phone may keep session information, catalogs and other local supporting data. Signing out invalidates local access and clears downloadable data; any existing drafts or pending items may be kept, protected by session and ownership controls.
Files downloaded or exported to the phone's storage may remain there after signing out or uninstalling the application. Those copies can be managed from the device's file applications.
5. Retention and deletion
The system does not apply a single automatic deletion period to all information. Operational and historical records remain in the system until a specific retention or deletion action is carried out. Session expiry, signing out and uninstalling the application do not delete records on the server.
Administrative deletion of an account does not automatically delete its work records. If linked records exist, the tool may prevent the account from being deleted to avoid losing that information. In those cases the company must assess the request; this technical limitation does not replace the handling of the person's rights.
Retention of documents, technical logs and backups is managed separately. Simultaneous deletion of all copies is not guaranteed when a record or account is deleted. You can ask about the retention of your data or request its deletion through the contact below.
6. Access, correction and deletion requests
You can request access to, updating, correction or deletion of your personal data and your account by writing to development@dezbainspection.com. You do not need the application installed or an active session to send a request.
Include your account email and what you are requesting. Do not send passwords, authentication codes or keys. To protect your data, we may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity.
The request will be assessed considering the account data, associated business records and applicable obligations. If information must be retained, the reason and scope of that retention will be reported. Closing or disabling access is not the same as deleting the data.
You can also review your rights and the Argentine authority's channels at the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP).
7. Changes to this policy
Updates will be published on this page with their update date. For clarifications about this policy or the processing of data, use the contact email above.
